A Review From Bryan Fitzmartin -- Here's Crumb's Track “Ghostride”

September 03, 2020

The next choice is “Ghostride” by “Crumb” and like many other tracks on this list it carries a fine indie rock sound. This song is extremely chill and extremely “laid back” and that’s one of the things that makes it sound so “indie” up front. Don’t get me wrong however, to achieve a 2000s indie sound, a song (any song) does not have to just be “laid back” to do that per se; however, this song by Crumb is able to use the effect it creates musically as a way to make it sound perfectly awesome and nostalgic. In fact, in a certain sense, the title says is all somewhat, and this really does feel like a “Ghostride” from “Crumb.” The official youtube video is listed below and its well worth a listen – give it a shot and see what you think.
